CIS 101 - Final Project/Exam

Overview: The purpose of the final project is to give the student the opportunity to demonstrate competence with integrating the terminology, concepts, and skills gained in the course. The student will use the Internet to research a topic, create a report using Word, include a chart using Excel, and create a presentation using PowerPoint. The final project is on a pleasant topic about your 3 favorite cartoon cats or dogs.

Step Action Notes Points

You may take the final early if you have completed all the labs and taken the mid-term. You need to make your appointment no later than week 9 of class (7 in summer).

Note: as a result of issues in previous terms I want to be crystal clear that if, at the last moment, you discover that the final is not held at a convenient time for you, I may require a note from your doctor or other suitable and substantial documentation to reschedule your exam, or I may decline to offer a make-up. Instructors are under no obligation to provide make-up exams.
