What did you like about the class?	How could this class be improved? Add any comments about the class and/or the instructor that you feel might he helpful or useful.
I like the straight forward approach to the course.  I think he is a reasonable person and I appreciate that he stay on schedule.	He seems just a little bit too liveral and it shows in his class room.  He should also be careful about commenting on religious topics.  I'm a Christian and I hope the President prays before he acts.
I truly can say this is one of the best taught history classes.  Lectures are superb, online tests are convenient, and the PSD reading is great to get a closer look at history.  Video clip usage is great!  Overall this class taught me a ton and did it in a very manageable timely manner.	There's too much history and too little time.
I liked the overheads and videos and Escobar gave lots of wonderful info on certain things especially studying WWI.	Escobar made comments that didn't always make sense like women in Iran cover their faces as a political protest to America (which has nothing to do with what we are studying).  He referred to Jimmy Carter as a fluke president which is insane because he was one of the best presidents we have had recently (peace between Israel and Palestine).  His tests were all t/f and multiple choice so no, I don't think I was encouraged to think.
The information covered.	The lighting in the computer room is terrible.  It is hard to see those old screen when the natural light is fading in and out.  If we are going to be required to take the tests on computers (which I think is a great idea) the environment must be reasonable.
Everything, Joe is so enthusiastic, funny & knowledgeable you don't want to miss class.	The class is perfect as is.  Great job!
Overall it was a good learning experience.	I think the instructors could make his notes easier to copy down.  At times they were confusing.
Every day there was a video.  That helped put things in perspective.
It was fun.

Joe's enthusiasm really makes the class interesting.	More handouts to answers questions on videos.

He was clear about what was expected.  I liked that diverse methods of teaching - videos, charts, outlines, and lecture.	Change nothing - It's the best history class I've ever had.  Give him a raise!

Escobar knows alot about history.	It can't be improved
Everything!  Great teaching.
I appreciated how Escobar would compare all historical events with relevant history so that the archaic past became personal.	Perhaps make the tight late work policies more lenient and have some class notes posted on the internet.
He presents material well.
I learned a lot.  Escobar was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of good info.  Good teaching style.	None
Escobar's enthusiasm and knowledge	The tests were too difficult... maybe have 4 smaller ones instead of two large ones?
The teacher really knows his history and is very fun to listen to.	The only thing I didn't like was the classroom - but that's not his fault.  Classroom was way to dark and depressing.
I love the computer system - the flexibility of the exams - the weekly computer quizzes.  And the instructor - his methods helped me see the big picture of history.
Availability of teacher.	It's perfect.
He is a great teacher and knows what he is teaching.  Not only does he have the knowledge, but enjoys what he teaches.	None
The time period covered, scope of information presented, both foreign and domestic.	Have novels relating to time period to read for class.
Escobar made the class interesting and enjoyable!	Everything was fantastic!
