| 1 | I liked that we covered a lot of information. There was a lot of detail, and although it was sometimes difficult to handle it all, I liked that we learned as much as possible. I also liked the online forums. They were a great way for us to apply our knowledge of what we were learning and expand on that. |

I have never like history classes and going into this class I was not to excited but after having Mr. Escobar as a teacher that changed. I am actually taking another history class this next semester because he sparked an intreats in me to learn more about U.S. history. I have learned so much and highly recommend this class. |
| 1 | I loved how there was always a fun atmosphere and sometimes even a little sarcasm. It kept things light and easy to enjoy learning about history. Often times, instructors get too serious and have no fun with teaching. Not the case with this class. |

Having online homework actually made it so that I thought about the material almost every day, even when we didn't have class ( which, with snow days, was sometimes a full week). Joe is a great teacher and I really appreciate the effort he puts into being available to his students and providing intersting materials for class. |

| 1 | What I really liked about the class was that a lot of it was online and it seemed to make it easier for me to get work accomplished out side of class. Another thing that I liked was the forums. I didn't do very well on the first forum but I think I did a much better job on the second forum simply because I knew what was expected of me. |

| 1 | For some reason, it seems that the in-class power-points only outlined the subjects generally. Maybe the readings outside of class could be given some amount of time to be discussed specifically in class. |

| 1 | Great instructor! Because we had to read a lot of chapters from the book, I created my own study habits which helped me, especially towards the end of the term. Very enjoyable class. This class was not boring, there was always something new to learn. |
