What did you like about the class?

I think this is one of the only classes that lends itself well to the online format. I enjoyed having frequent videos and visual aids during classtime.

I liked the regular deadline. It provided a steady, reliable routine for me, which I have found helps lead to less confusion and better chance of success in the course personally. 

I liked that I never really disagreed with you about anything or how you related real life problems with our subject.
Well history is depressing but interesting and it's important to learn from. I think the only way we can be better is to learn from the past, ignoring it would just increase the risk of it repeating.

I liked how organized the class was. There wasn’t any point where I felt lost or confused about the course material, as the zoom meetings helped to clarify what I didn’t understand or what I had forgotten from the textbook.

I enjoyed the open discussion availability 

I really enjoyed the all the different sources we got to use to learn from. I feel like that made note taking and studying easier and also gave different views on events. 

I liked the amount of historical background that was explained by the professor, as well as the images that were shown in addition to the ones in the textbook. The professor's explanations of concepts was also something I appreciated. Discussion about films relating to the class teachings was interesting and allowed for more exploration.

I liked how this class brought the history of the United States to events that are currently happening right now in our time period. 

Strong clear lectures on each chapter.

I enjoy learning about the history of our country 

I enjoyed how excited the teacher was to teach and how well he taught the subjects in class.

How could this class be improved? Add any comments about the class and/or instructor that you feel might be helpful or useful.

This class covers a wide stretch of time in American history, and I feel that some things that were important in the textbook weren't covered much in lecture. So it was sometimes difficult to know what would be important on future evaluations.

Maybe keep a copy of the chapter PowerPoints available online for students 

I wish the class was taught in person

Well having it be in person would probably be better so it's hard to say. 
There’s not really anything that I can think could be improved upon. The class was comfortable, and there wasn’t really any major issues that I had with it.

Needs to be a little longer so the class has more time to engage and discuss topics. It always felt like we were just barely covering everything by the end of class and I didn't want to interrupt the class with questions because of it.
I feel that this class could be improved with more group projects or discussions, especially if it would be online. The quizzes linked to the online textbook could also be more difficult, as many students would probably get an easy pass with the system used this term.

I found the exams challenging but overall fair. 

Good class.

Taking a break midway through the class period would be helpful. A class that stretches on for an hour twenty minutes uninterrupted is very monotonous. 

I dont have any other than the class was a blast to be apart of.
