Retain copyright while allowing others to copy, distribute, and make some uses of the work — at least non-commercially. Learn how to use Creative Commons
- Search, find and give attribution
Go to: http://search.creativecommons.org/ Using CC search within fotopedia [images], find an image to download for your webpage. Your subject choice is pumpkins.
- Choose the Fotopedia icon.
- Type in your search term in the text box next to the search icon.
- Be sure to check: I want something that I can...
use for commercial purposes;
modify, adapt, or build upon. - Choose an image. Hover over the image and and click on the "i". This will take you to a larger image and give your license information.
- Choose download. Right click on the large image and download to your computer.
- Gather correct licensing and credit information.
