Throughout Secrets of Feeding A Healthy Family, Satter shows how difficult it is to develop positive eating habits in today's world of negative and alarmist nutrition messages.  But perhaps one place to keep sounding an alarm is the condition of the practices of what has been called the factory farming system of raising foods with a lot of high quality protein.  As you read the Power Steer article (in the RESOURCES above) and answer the following questions, keep thinking about how you'd like to apply this information (if you do) to your own eating.

    5. Grass-fed beef has more omega 3 fatty acids and less omega 6 ones.

    1. It has instigated reforms in antibiotic use.
    2. It has instigated reforms in hormone use.
