Before the first class session, please buy the required text, “Nutrition Concepts & Controversies, Sizer & Whitney, 10th edition” 2006 (the one WITHOUT the additional Diet Analysis boxed CD). We will be using a free online version of a Diet Analysis program. There is a CD physically attached to the book, but we will not be using that one.

Also buy my Nutrition Study Guide (often called the packet), which contains most of the printed material need for this class. During the first class session, have in front of you the packet’s outline for chapter 1.

If you are unable to buy the packet before the first class session, there is a pdf of it in the Moodle part of this class the Chapter 1 Lecture Outline and Study Questions. It is a fairly large document. A pdf will only be available for the week 1 materials.
